Changing the hood

 So, this was our current state of affairs in regards to the vent hood... kind of dingy looking compared to the bright white cabinets. I picked up some metallic spray primer- as close as I could get to stainless steel- and gave it a whirl.

Of course you have to tape everything off because I don't want a speck of that spray paint on the freshly painted cabinets!! This wasn't the fun part.

                                                  

 

 Here it is...  a little too sparkly for my taste. It looks better in this picture, though.

 So, I think I am going to paint it white or try to find an exact stainless steel color in spray paint.. if they make such a thing. But it is better to look at than the bisque color.
