I found this sweet little dresser at Goodwill a few years ago. I loved it immediately and for it's price of $7, it was in my car as fast as I could get it there. I love its imperfections, the handles, and the details on the drawer fronts.
It used to live in my entryway, but I recently moved it to the dining room.
I came across this picture on Pinterest via:
I loved the color she picked and so I was immediately inspired since it looks so similar to my dresser! I found a color I loved (one I wasn't too scared to do and one that was neutral enough) at Menards.
The color is French Gray Linen - I only ordered a sample size can of paint... I even had leftovers after 2 coats! I did sand it down a little and put on a good coat of primer before painting it though.
It looks lighter in the pictures than it does in real life; it is more of a light creamy green color and very pretty. I love the way it lightens up the room!
I am also thinking about doing a dark glaze on it, but kind of like it how it is all simple and clean. I also am trying to decide if I should try and clean up the knobs or keep them tarnished to give it some age... what do you think?
